About
Stallworth Lake is a small coastal dune lake, about 15 acres, in Dune Allen. Much of the shoreline is private. It is easier to think of it as a place to watch birds than as a lake with a formal public launch.
Its size is part of the lesson of the chain. Coastal dune lakes are not all broad public waters. Some are quiet basins tucked into a developed coast, still opening intermittently toward the Gulf, with little of the shore in public hands.
Public access
No formal public launch is described here. The shoreline is largely private. Bird-watching is the public use this guide can point to. Do not assume a yard, dock, or beach path is open.
